Blower Door Test have been a mandatory step for permitting in Florida since 2017. They are meant to pressurize the house in order to detect air leakage. We perform these locally to Panama City, Panama City Beach, & Santa Rosa Beach and surrounding counties.

As registered HERS raters, we audit your home or project based upon the plans provided and return to you the required paperwork for the permitting process. We do this in state or out of state for residential and commercial projects.

Manual J calculations are not a required part of the permitting process for your new home. However, they are an extremely useful tool when attempting to size and plan out your air conditioning. Using new age software, we will take a set of plans and provide to you the exact ac sizing and duct layout required to heat and cool your home.

Thermal Imagery is one of the most useful tools to date for finding unwanted air infiltration within your home or project. Essentially, we pressurize your home to exacerbate the air leakage then use our thermal equipment to find heat spots on walls, ceilings and in attic spaces. This shows us precisely where air is coming in and how we can go about fixing it.
